"I think that your production was awesome. You used all the space and spoke to us during the play. I don't think anyone else could have done it better. Except Shakespeare." - Year 8 student

"You really brought the play to life for them and there has been a real buzz around the school since. Yes, children are actually discussing Shakespeare in the corridors and playground - amazing!!! - Head of Department

“It was great to see that the set scenes were unaltered and the original language still used; there was no ‘dumbing down’. It managed to engage and enthuse the students through the sheer energy and pace of the acting. The students were enthralled- you could hear a pin drop.” Director of Learning

Shakespeare Works! Drama Workshops

KS2 and 3 plus NEW GCSE package!

These interactive drama sessions help students of all abilities to access and enjoy Shakespeare’s plays. Our drama activities have been developed to make sure that students have fun, and then feel confident to get involved and play an active role throughout.

Each session ends with the students performing their own abridged version of a Shakespeare classic!

Choose from Romeo and Juliet, The Tempest, Macbeth and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

"The session was able to hold a difficult crowd of students in a tricky afternoon session. The students were spellbound and the performance was dynamic. One student said 'I really enjoyed the session. At first I thought it was going to be boring, but time went so fast I was wrong. Shakespeare's safe, you know?" Head of English Department

"The kids thought you were fab and still wax lyrical about the day. Little groups have been putting on their own performances at home, some are quoting the play to their parents and one student has even made up her own song about the day! What an impact you have had here." Head of English

The Agency

KS2 and 3 plus NEW GCSE package!

In this session students create their own TV shows (primary) or catchy advertising campaigns to attract people to their hometowns (secondary). The final shows and adverts are filmed and teachers are provided with digital clips which can be used for follow up work.

"The Agency" was great for my GCSE drama class. They learnt about the creative processes involved in advertising and enjoyed developing their acting skills." Head of Drama

"I wanted a workshop which would get my class working together as a team and trying out some drama. It delivered this and more! I was also impressed how my kids were engaged, enthused and inspired to produce some fantastic TV shows. The film we made is also really helpful because we can build on this work in the classroom with some creative writing." Year 6 Class Teacher
